School opens at 8:55am and finished at 3:30pm. Your child’s regular and prompt attendance at school is crucial to his/her success. As soon as the children enter the classroom in the morning, children immediately start their learning. If children are not here on time, they miss out on such opportunities.
PE is on Thursday mornings and Friday afternoons. Please ensure your child has a suitable PE kit in school .
2S Homework
Please ensure you read with your child as often as possible. The children will need their reading bags in school every day - home-reading books will be changed as soon as they have read them.
Spellings will be sent home on a Friday. Spelling Tests will take place on the following week. Click on the following links to look at our homework sheets for the half terms:
Times Table Challenges will take place on Fridays. Please help your child learn their multiplication tables – we are starting with tens, fives and twos.

The children have a Guided Reading session every morning in which they read with an adult and have activities related to their book and our topic on the other days. This provides an idea of the things we do during Guided Reading.
